So, do any of you knit/crochet during the summer? Or do you take a summer hiatus?

Me, I will be crocheting and knitting all summer. That's what lighter yarns and threads are for, right!?!?!?

Cool! That's what I plan on doing. I want to work on crocheting with thread and lace/fingering/sock yarn this summer. You know making earrings, shawls, scarves and shrugs. Nice light items.

I'll also be working on my knitting seeing as I haven't done it in quite a while. Want to knit up some awesome fall and winter items.

I crochet year round too.. it's always summer where I live. But in the winter I'm doing mainly hats and bags, and I plan on making stuff ahead of time for the actual summer season too.. however maybe I should reverse my plans. Make summer stuff for the wintertime. That's high season, when we get a lot of tourists and snowbirds down here in So Flo and they all need my need bikinis and coverups.

ETA I haven't made a full bikini yet, so this is thinking ahead..lol

OMGoodness!!!! Two more of my hooks came today - Q and S. I'm so in love.

Needle lovers share your work here-imageuploadedbycurlynikki1358377349.709950.jpg

I really wish they had all the larger crochet hooks. Either way these 2 new additions are absolutely FANTABULOUS!!! These will become favorites mine. Just as my Rosewood hooks are.
