I'm so glad that there is a forum on here about crocheting.! I just started teaching myself and I need opinions and advice with some things.!
I've just been messing around trying to get use to diff stitches but I need patters for novice ppl like myself lol..

I have been lurking around this thread and all of you have motivated me to learn how to crochet. I dont quite know how to read patterns seems vey confusing, I think im more visual. Anyway here is my project a blanket with I guess single crochet.

Check out issuu.com where you can download tons and tons of books. I did a search and found a bunch of crochet books that I'd been wanting in my library, for example the book on visual crochet. They have books there on every subject, but I'm mostly interested in the crochet/knitting ones.

Here is a scarf I made last night. I started over twice because it twisted. This time it did the same but continued. Not sure how to keep it from twisting. I'm not sure why I used a thick yarn, I live in Florida. Doesn't get that could here.
