it was because women do it all the time to save face. When my uncle cheated on my aunt and had a kid my aunt eventually ended up raising the child as her own to save face. initially she didnt want the child near the house but when people started to find out and she could no longer hide it she did what she had to do to save her family.

look at the prez and his wife. you think she knew all along about Olivia but when she found out she didnt divorce him and ruin his political aspirations. she played like she was ok with it and went along for the ride and in the last episode we saw she wasnt and wanted her man back.

We as woman have been turning a blind eye and forgiving for years and will continue to do so thus it is realistic and shows u what happens in families behind closed doors.

Something happened between Fitz and Liv that they haven't shown us yet.

Liv refers to hum as her ex-boyfriend now....what happened between the time they were recorded (when he was campaigning) and now?

Also, why is Millie so interested in her husband again? What is her agenda?

The show is very well developed, as far as characters and situations. There has to be a reason for these gaps.

in the season finale because of the tape millie had to get pregnant and take her husband back because she thought liv and the prez were being irresponsible. And liv broke things off to save his career.

Also in the show i took it as she never lost interest but only pretended the affair never bothered her. when she gave the speech to the pastors wife it was then that i understood that she did care but was willing to persevere in her marriage and remember the man she married and loved and not hate and divorce him. Now i get why she acts like a witch with a b; its because she is still hurt and she gave up everything for a man who doesn't love her.

I believe Millie loves her husband ... but I also think she wants the lifestyle that comes with him being the President and she the First Lady.

Fitz does love Millie (to a certain extent being the Mother of his kids) but he isn't in love with her anymore.

What he and Olivia have is much deeper.

The wife's name is Mellie. Excited about tonight!!

When there was a ball or some event at the White House and Fitz was down and blue, Millie made sure that Olivia attended. I think she even said "I know you miss her."

And not that I'm an expert on sex scenes, but the one with Fitz and Liv, the one that was taped, was outstanding.
