I just finished The Invisible Thread. Have anyone read this book? About this white woman that befriends this 10yr old black boy from Harlem and they are still friends to this day...interesting. But now I'm reading The Warmth of Other Suns. Now this one is going to be a great read. It's about the Great Migration (Blacks migrating to the north) I just started but sometimes it's hard to stay focused at my age (45) because as I'm reading...things that I already know and have figured out on my own will flood my thoughts and its amazing to have all that knowledge about our people at your finger tips. This is a great book for every Black person to read to get a complete understanding of where we came from and how we ended up north. The book brings you all the way up to President Obama! Sorry for the short essay but read the book!!

Trying to add more reads to my library and your book choices are usually good ones. So I just downloaded these.
