My mother likes Dean Koontz also. I love urban books but they are starting to get predictable and routine. Does anybody read anything by Mary Monroe ? I loveeeee her! The Upper Room and Mama Ruby (Mary Monroe) are my two favorites by her and they are A MUST READ!!

I read the gunslinger series a few years ago. I completely got caught up in the characters. I wouldn't call this series scary. I don't want to ruin it for you do I'll just say "different" lol

I just finished "Diamond Life", the sequel to "Platinum". Awesome books. I don't usually like urban novels, but I'm a fan of Aliya King.

She is a great author....my absolute fave book from her is Gonna lay down my burdens....that book right there is soooo good
