The longer the better? The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. The first book is over 800pages. And I didnt even notice (I have a kindle) and I read it so fast! And every book after that gets bigger and bigger. Im on the fourth or fifth, The Fiery Cross, its 1400+! Its about a lady that passes through stones that send her from the 1940's back to the 18th century. Love, danger, death, tourture, rape! The first book was off the chain! The author has a website. Best series I've read since harry potter.

I love the twilight series too! I caught on late but I read the first three books in like a week because I could not put them down. I've heard of Tananarive Due's books so I will have to check those out next.

Hello...I don't know if you still want more suggestions but I am an AVID book reader and really into paranormal romance/urban fantasy. I don't if you've read this series but the vampire huntress legend by L.A. Banks is a great series.(12 books I think) She also has another series that's pretty good. Seressia Glass has a series(2 books so far) that is excellent. First book is called shadow blade. I usually order all my books from amazon. Hope that helps...

I think I've read a couple of her books might need to revisit them. I try really hard to keep away from the romance stuff but sometimes good writers make it enjoyable.

A friend of mine was reading that. Maybe I need to see if she can transfer it over.
