Never organized a Bible study through this means... My hope & prayer is however it comes together, God gets glorified, someone gets encouraged, & we all get edified & grow in the word & faith. 🙏 In Jesus name.
I think that would be the best way to go about it. A lot of people are über busy during the week with work, kids, spouses, etc. so they may or may not be able to take part in the Q&A segment if it's not on the weekend.

Oh and I'd love to partake in bible study. I've been reading the Bible a lot more lately and I have tons of questions lol.

So we start reading Matthew chpts 1-3 starting the week of Monday 10/29 and whoever wants to discuss or share can btwn Fri to Sun? That'll work for me too. As y'all said, busy weeks plus the weekend gives flexibility. We can read at our own leisure. Some may finish those chptrs before the week is over. Personally, this will help me etch out specific study time as I keep trying to have it. So, thank you ladies for your interest.

Happy Monday ladies (I hope)!!! I pray those in the path of the storm are safe & well!!! 🙏

Should we postpone the start of the group reading because some may be in a situation re: having to leave home or seeing about their families? If we did do it, it came to mind a few questions - if all is ok with it or to get others to suggest too... Matthew opens with history, the genealogy of Jesus. It is the only 1 of 2 books that explores His birth in the gospels in this detail. Many find history (and having heard convos, the Bible itself) boring. Why is the history portion necessary? Does it have significance to you? What are your thoughts on baptism & the baptism of Jesus?

If we have to wait, that's fine. I prefer all safe as I'm sure others do too. Trust the Lord to calm the winds & rain and to keep you safe.

Hi. Love that app also. I have it & use it. Matter of fact, I used it to read 1st chapter of Matthew last night... For those that did or could, we started yesterday (Monday). Matthew 1-3, and if any questions & discussions along w/ answers or responses for Friday - Sun to give all a chance to read, finish reading, & participate. We're happy you can join in! Looking forward to learning & growing in the word with you.
