Soooo, I just had the pleasure of meeting her last week at a book signing she had in the area. What a powerful woman! I know many of us have read The Coldest Winter Ever, but how many of you have checked out her book Midnight: A Gangster Love Story or the new joint Midnight: And The Meaning Of Love? I admit I have been slipping big time, because I just bought both of those books and I am starting on Midnight :AGLS tonight. Without giving away any of her books to those of us who didn't read them yet, what are your thoughts on either of these if you have read them? Also, let me know any other books you guys are reading...

I've read the first 2 books and loved them! Some people think that Midnight: A Gangsta Love Story is a sequel to The Coldest Winter Ever and are disappointed. But it's just as good as the first novel.

I conquer. I read her first two books and they were good. I did read the second book thinking it was a sequel to the Coldest Winter Ever but still good books.

This is true! Some people also think that Midnight and the Meaning of love is the sequel to Midnight: A Gangster Love story... A couple of people asked her about that at the book signing and she said that none of her stories have been written where a reader will have to read a previous book to understand. She says she hates when Authors do that and that most of them do to earn an extra buck. She said at any given moment anyone can pick up any one of her books and read it to get a good understanding without having read any of her previous work...

She also said that the Coldest Winter Ever Part II is coming out in another year and a half. It will be around the time that Winter is released from prison, because back in 1999 when the book was written, for those of you who read it, you must remember she got 15 years in prison...

I've read both books and didn't even know she had another one out but I'll definitely check it out. Me personally, I love when authors give me a good series that goes ON AND ON!!!! LOL
