You discribed exactly. Why I modified my green house effect. I use 14n1...its intensense on the moisture...then I use a satin bonnet...it let's out just enough moisture to keep hair from getting the fungus (which thrives in a hot, humid enviroment) but hold in enough to leave hair shiny and healthy and just the right balance.
Only use two wraps on rubber bands...get the look wihtout the pull.

For protective styling because my hair is super super thin and curly, it twist around bobby pins and elastics and ends up breaking off, twist and braids are a lot of manipulation and I get a lot of breakage so idk what to do=( could one of y'all help me
