I went to an African braid shop too for a sew in and came out with my head aching after awhile I took my hair down to find an open wound. It was infected too but thankfully I was able to get to the doctor soon enough to get antibiotics but now I have a scar not just a bald spot. It's horrible but I just thank God I'm healthy.

That is crazy! I'm so sorry that happened to you. Ugh the way they handle a person's hair is definitely without love and care. They just want to do it quick and get the money. That's not fair for you to end up with a wound like that!
